About
The NSS Cell of Nagarjuna College of Management Studies was established in the year 2017.
In line with the motto of the NSS, the cell is dedicated to social service since its inception.
NSS Cell is working towards sustainable living, creating awareness on societal and environmental issues, promoting higher education, organizing ‘Yoga Day’ celebrations for students and faculty, conducting health camps, organizing various programs and special camps aimed at the holistic well-being of our students and society. At Nagarjuna College of Management Studies, we are not merely shaping futures; we are also actively fostering a citizen-friendly society. The realization of a successful and harmonious society is no longer a distant dream, but an attainable goal.

To build the youth with the mind and spirit, to serve the society, and to work for the social upliftment of the down-trodden masses of our nation as a movement.
Mission
The National Service Scheme has been functioning with the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education.
Objectives of NSS Cell, NCMS
Objectives of NSS Cell-NCMS are framed in line with the NSS objectives at National level.
- To identify the needs and problems of the community and society and involve in resolving process.
- To develop social and civic responsibility among the NSS volunteers
- To utilize volunteers’ expertise and knowledge in finding solution to individual &community issues surrounding us.
- To develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities.
- To gain skills in mobilizing community participation.
- To acquire leadership abilities and self-governing attitude.
- To develop ability to overcome and help in crises and natural disasters.
- To practice national integration and social harmony.
