NCMS ‘KALA CHAITANYA’ was inaugurated and Doddata Kalapradarshana ‘VAALI-SUGRIVARA KALAGA’ was organised on 25 December 2021. The Chief guest of the programme was Shri. Pramod Shiggaon, Director, Theatre. Doddata: a folk theatre of Karnataka; Mudalapaya (Eastern Mode) has a very rich tradition in North Karnataka which is known by different names like Doddata, hire ata or bayalata etc. The programme helps the students in personality development in so many different ways, dissolving fears and inhibitions that people usually unconsciously hold onto. It helps in personality enhancement by making the participants more confident, expressive and comfortable in their own skin besides it helps understand and value the perspective of the others participating with them.
